How our store works
Here is a brief primer on the purchasing and shipping process:
1. You, the customer, select one or more items that you wish to purchase, add these to your shopping cart, and proceed to checkout. You will be given an opportunity to remove (or add) items to your shopping cart before you are asked to provide shipping information.
2. Once in checkout, you will be asked to provide a valid email address.
3. You will also be asked to provide a valid shipping and billing address, and will be given a chance to add comments to your order.
4. You will not be asked for payment at any time during the checkout process.
5. Once you submit your order, you will automatically receive from us an email (sent to the email address you provided in step 2) with information confirming receipt of your order and providing you a username and password to access our site, should you wish to review the status of your order.
6. We will review your order to see if we have your merchandise in stock. If we do, we will recontact you within 24 hours with a total amount due, that will include shipping fee based on your zip code and preferred method of delivery.
7. If we do not have you item in stock, we will check to see if our supplier has the item available. If they do, we will contact you within 48 to 72 hours with payment and shipping information.
8. If the merchandise you wish to purchase is on back order, we will let you know and inform you once it has arrived.
9. Once payment and shipping information is confirmed, you will be asked to pay for your merchandise.
- In order to keep our overhead -- and prices -- lower than other online tack shops, we do not directly accept credit card payments.
- We do, however, accept Paypal and related online forms of payment, in addition to personal checks and money orders.
- If you choose to pay with Paypal or some other online service, you agree to be responsible for the transaction fee these services charge. If you need help calculating the fee, please let us know.
- Once you indicate to us that you wish to use Paypal, we will provide you with the link.
- If you prefer to pay with check or money order, we will provide you with our mailing address.
10. Once payment is received, we will either ship the merchandise to you ourselves , or have our supplier ship it to you directly.
11. We will be in touch with you at every step of the process to make sure your questions or concerns are addressed.
